I don't know if you guys have seen the new accessories for the newer SE phones (ie K750, W800) but their headsets and chargers seem to take up the space of the entire bottom of the phone. Their new connectors seem to have widened compared to older accessories.
What if somebody wanted to use a wired headset as well as charge the phone at the same time (I used to do that while I was in the car). This would no longer be possible as it seems only one accessory could be attached at one time.
I know that a bluetooth headset would alleviate that problem, but I was also thinking about how the newer HBH-662 would be charged. How do you charge such a small headset with such a wide charger? Is SE forcing us to use two different chargers for our phones and headsets? The main reason I chose an SE headset is so that I don't have to mess with two different sets of chargers for both phone and headset. Is SE forcing us to deal [and purchase] many different accessories just to keep us happy?
If anyone has seem or used the newer phones and knows how these new chargers/connectors work, it'd be great if you could share details. |
