A brand new T68 warrantied unit (from authorized dealers) would be around Php 20,500 (US$410) and unwarrantied units (mostly smuggled or sourced elsewhere other than SE Philippines) range from around Php 15,500 - 17,500 (US$310 - 350).

Take away around 20% of the list price for second hand unit

I saw a T68i at MBK Center last week with an asking price of 9000 baht. Having checked mobile prices around Asia during a lot of recent business trips, I would say that Thailand has gone from one of the most expensive places to but a mobile phone to one of the cheapest. The competition is fierce at MBK, and I don't think I have ever seen more phone shops and phones for sale in one place anywhere else in Asia.

ei....a brand new T68i will cost you here in manila (philippines) about Php 18000 with cam and warranty at SEMICON. If you only need to get the cheapest...you get it from stalls at Green Hills for less than Php 10000 with out cam and warranty.

Vin,

I was just over in Manila this week, and had a chance to look around for a T610, but no luck in finding one. I am not seeing any in Thailand....have you seen any in Green Hills? Any idea regarding price?

Thanks Gowin. I just checked the Semicon website and they don't the T610 listed in their online store. I did see the T68i/cam bundle listed, but it carries a price of P18.5k. The T68i without the cam lists for P15.5k. Not sure if these are real prices that you get in the Semicon shop, but if so I think I might buy in Bangkok!

Just a P.S.

Checked out prices for the t68i at authorized dealers in Bangkok today. Price for legal, fully warranted, new units sold at the authorised dealers is 11,200 Thai baht (about US$270).

Sadly, they have no idea regarding arrival date for the t610.

One more T68i price update for Bangkok (priced at MBK today).

New T68i: 9000 baht

New T68i/Communicam bundle: 11,100 baht

Second Hand T68i: 7500 baht (only saw one available today, but there are no doubt more if you spend some time looking...MBK is huge!)
