Lg are trying to persuade operators to get 3g into india.
Not gonna come until 2006 imo

even if lg push for 3g in india , i think they will push only cdma 1x networks,not gsms(s) . |

Most operators in India will have 3G by end of 2006 (this is my guess) So by 1q-2q of 2006, 3G will start getting Deployed. According to Eldar, Z600 (or whatever the candybar one was called) Is Lower-Middle price segment, so I suppose it woud cost 18k (approx.) During launching. Nokia already have the 6630 in the Shops for sale, and z1010 is avialable in Palika, for 27k (The one I saw was Voda branded).

S700 is for gsm markets and in Japan they dont have the S700 at all. I think you are referring to the Edge supported S710a which can be baught in North America. |
