What is this message icon on my new k500i |

Guys,can you help me out please, no one in the highstreet knows what this is...basically a message envelope icon with an underlined letter A has appeared on my k500I (orange network).
This thing wont come off the screen at all, I have deleted all my text messages (inbox and Outbox) Email account (there were no emails anyway) Can you believe even orange shop doesnt know what it is?? There is nothing in the manual about this either.
My friend reckons it could well be a picture or video message sent by a three phone but surely not??

What kind of "A" is it? @ like this one? Also, check if There's a wap push message and also for voicemails.

No it is not an @ sign, Just tried push in the setings area of messages and not doing anything...As I mentioned it looks like an underlined letter A.
Thinking about it could it be a fax icon?,if so how could i pick up a fax from this phone.There doesnt seem to be a menu for faxes.

Does switching off and on help. You might have gone into the wrong menu for push messages. Also, are there two email abounts configured, because you need to switch them manually.

I've got the exact problem! I've even done a master reset, but this icon still doesn't go away! HELP! |

Well, I don't know anything about Orange branded k500i, but on a non-branded one, apart from the @ message when you have a new e-mail, there's no other icon that looks like the one you describe (I've checked my manual) |
