Wouldn't it be fantastic if you were able to play .sid and .mod tunes in your SE phone!?
I think I've seen some jave sw for nokia phones wich allows you to play .mod files.
lo-bit music rocks!

You could convert the mods to something else but yeah, would be nifty to have mod music on the phones themselves.
mod, sid, s3m, soundtracker are all music formats form the c64, amiga, atari era, basically sequenced sounds, the sound files themselves (like wav files really) were also contained in the file. Kinda like midi that has the files to make it sound like the writer intended. |

I think there is an application for Symbian UIQ for playing .sid format but I forget the application name.
I once installed that application in my P900 but soon uninstall it since I have no clue at all what kind of file the .sid is at that moment.

Sorry!
Cant use the N-player for Symbian UIQ, though it seems quite nice!
I use SE k700i.
Hopefully in the future all phones will have a more open platform, allowing updates/enhancement with drivers and codecs.
Btw, Anyone know of a PDA (Palm OS) player that support .sid's?
