I've also tried it using another SE phone (K700i) but it didnt work
My friend has a K700i and it worked fine with him, so i've tried to connect my phone to another pc (my laptop) but the problem remains!!

please try to delete all ya paired bluetooth device.
do a search and repair again.... if u are running on windows XP sp2 and use windows bluetooth driver, wait for a while untill HID detected and installed into ya windows and ya phone will prompt u a request to connect to to ya pc for HID.
i did it so many times without fail....
one more thing... did u installed 2 pc suite in 1 pc?? K700i and S700i pc suite?

yeah i installed 2 PC Suite in 1 PC (S700i & K700i) but i unstalled them both and then installed S700i PC suite alone. Also i did what you said about deleting my devices, but still cannect it as aremote control, although i can share files between my phone and PC.
Actually what happens is that when i turn my phone bluetooth on and try to connect it to a desktop it always find my PC, but when i select it, it asks if i wanna add this device to my devices and enter the passcode, after i do that this message appears "Bluetooth connection failed"
do i have to add it to "My devices" ?!? and what could be the cause of this problem? aomething with my phone(s) (s700, k700) or my computers (desktop, laptop)!? |

About the "bluetooth connection failed" msg i saw it before when i try to pair my K700i. i solved it out when i place my K700i direct face to face with my bluetooth dongle which is only few inches from each others and it will be pair prefectly.
one more thing.. Please use ya PC to discover ya phone rather than ya phone discover ya PC. it work better in this way.
i don't know why K700i and S700 have this problem.... but i tried my P series pairing, and it works perfectly as long as it's within range.
yes...... u have to add it to ya device. if u installed the bluetooth dongle driver which provided togehter with the dongle. please remove it. seriously i do not face any problem with windows bluetooth with my bluetooth device.
cheers dude

why do u need to use OBEX push? try to change some files? as far as i am happy to trasfer my files among the both device i am A ok with it.
but anyway... i have no time to test the OBEX push yet and now my K700i had give away to my sister. maybe u can try it and and let me know or we can discuss about this here. if u want... get down my msn and add me to ya listed as further exchange of idea.
