Hi guys.
I thought I would let you know that I've come up with a very quick way to generate themes for the S700i.
I use a combination of Photoshop 7, Tar for windows and the SE Theme creator.
If you have seen my theme I posted the other day here you will have seen the output you get using this method.
It basically takes one source image (sized to fit the screen) and builds the whole theme in about 30 seconds. I execute a pre saved action in Photoshop which creates all of the images needed. I then compress all these (along with a configuration xml file) into a .thm file using Tar for windows and finally I open the resultant theme in SE Theme Creator to check that it's all OK.
If you guys are interested post some images and I'll run them through the system for you.
At the moment I leave the text colours as they are. Or if I really want to change them that can be done in the SE Theme Creator stage.
I'm going to see if I can put this in some form for the rest of you to use (and then modify and imporove). I'll let you know how I get on. It's just finding the time to do it. It's not that east to keep fooling everybody at work that I'm actually working all day and not playing with my phone. |
