Hi all.somtimes when my k700i recieives a new sms it freaks out,flashes then restarts.is this a common bug?can ne thing b done about it?

My friend used to have this problem. Updating the firmware got rid of it. Which version have you got at the moment?

Hmm..operator specific firmware.Try running a search on how to change Operator specific firmware to general

See if you can get your K700 to update via the SE site using a DSS-25 or at a service center (it's free if it's under warranty and you have proof).

If the SE site doesn't work or you have no service centers about then I recommend you use a site like Davinci Team with either a T28 cable or DSS-25 and buy a credit to update the phone yourself. This also allows you to debrand the phone.

yeah that is how you shuold approach your problem,,,,,


btw... i read it can be a sim error too.. try changing sim and see if it works......
