Jamin,
how fast is the interface?
My z600 is a bit slow, hoping the k750 is faster.
This is also in making text messages, is it slow then too or better?
thanks |

The ease of use of the menu system on the K750i had me hooked; it was fast, slick and very pretty. |

"With the Sony Ericsson k750i Update Service you can keep your phone updated with the latest software. When a new software version is available, you can download and install it using the provided USB cable and an Internet-connected computer"

the updateprocedure using online update service and the usb cable is the same as it is today for k700 and the synctstation. The restrictions regarding branded firmwares and updating of those is still the same, nothing is changed compared to today and the K700. Except the speed of the cable and the port used is quicker.
You will still not be able to unbrand using the online update service.

Like numb said, you're able to update even branded handsets using the online update, the SE website just provides you with the necessary branded firmware when you select your operator.
It wont allow you to update using unbranded firmware unless your phone is unbranded, like mine.

And if I buy a branded K750i and then I could unbrand it, then I could update it with unbranded firmware or there is something else that SE server compares apart the firmware version like IMEI or something else.

Anyone know how the "limited edition" case will look like? If its nothing special I'll just order from another shop, where it is much lower priced.

Can anyone tell me if video is less compressed and records sound at a higher volume than the K700i.Can't hear a thing on my K700i on playback.3gp files don't work on my PC.I guess I could find out in a week or two myself.
