hey all
i boughta bluetooth adapter
and i have a serial cable to connect to my phone
right now, neither works
after i formatted my comp
when i try to install the bluetooh software, the installtion doesnt work, but hardwares fine
and for the serial cable, i tried using sendfile by christersson and i get the error "Run time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object"
can someone please help me!
only things i can thing of is like new software for the bluetooth thingy or gettin doin somethin with the activex component thing
if theres somethin else please let me know!

About bluetooth, which windows are you using? He you have win xp with sp2, the bluetooth drivers may not work.

yea i do have sp 2
it doesnt work..
anyway around that?...

i got around it by not installing sp2 (which is in my opinion crap), but you can
1)try using windows's drivers- deinstall original bluetooth drivers, and just plug dongle, pc should recognize it, then you'll be able to send from phone, and when you right click file on pc, under 'send to' you should have option to send to bluetooth device or so.
2)someone said that downloading new drivers for bt (you can find them on the internet) should sort it out. there were many posts about this so just search esato.
