Does R2E006 have 'picture messaging' |

Could anyone with r2e006 firmware for the t68/t68i tell me wether they can send nokia style picture messages? I have r2b025 on my t68, and can recieve picture messages from nokias (and from a samsung t100), but cannot send or forward them.
The envelope icon for a picture message in the sms list is purple instead of orange, and the t68 even says 'recieved picture message' when i recieve one. Why build in only partial support for this feature? Is r2e006 available in the UK?

Picture messaging is nothing to do with sony ericsson. Since ericsson and others (except Nokia) who support EMS. So for those manufacturers who support EMS can send pictures and sound between other phones. Since nokia think their picture messaging is unique and decided not to join sony ericsson, motorola, siemens etc...........so nokia phones can't receive EMS pictures send by sony ericsson, motorola etc..........but sony ericsson can receive picture messaging from nokia phones.............Its nokia's problem.........they think they are good so they decide not to use EMS...........Hate the nokia !!!!!! |

Ok, I understand that Nokia decided not to follow a standard, but why should the t68 be able to recieve nokias non standard messages and display them correctly, but not have the option to send them?

It is because ericsson can decode the picture messaging format to be able to show on the phone........but sending EMS to nokia phone would not work since nokia phone can't decode EMS format !!! |
