i started to make themes for s700
but im not the good in photoshop
so i tried my best and searched alot
but did know how can make transparent highlight??

and i would be grateful if u will tell me how to make shaps too:D

As far as I know you can't do it, but you can use another trick: for background image use repetitive texture- and use the same texture for highlight tab.

Yes you can. Here's a very detail tutorial on making themes. It's not for S700 but it's the same method, just use right size images for S700.

This is what you do. Select the highlight and set opacity between 50 - 70% (depends, try out different values).

Save image as .png and while doing so it will ask you an option for interlace.

Select "interlace" and save the image. The level of transparency depends on the % of opacity. Lower the % higher the transparency.

only gif and png formats are supported by s800 which can be transparent so be sure to save them in this format
my suggestion is that you start without a background when making new buttons, and as gseth said the only thing that matters is the opacity %
