there has been a lot of discussion about the different sections at ESATO.

one of the most common ones is a request for a saperate section for "sale for non mobile items" also the sections are pretty much mixed up.. there is no clear demarcation between the general/technical/software sections... usually a problem can go into any of these sections.... the solution to a problem can either be technical or software based... also does "software" mean software for pc or for phone? and why is the "sony ericsson v800 discussion" in "general" and not "UTMS?3g" may be we should join general/technical/software and condense into "general" section and open a new section called "firmwares"... that might help....

Yea sometimes its hard to decide where to post something. Maybe we should reduce the number of sections?

It's hard for us as well to find the right forum for some topics.
Some topics start up easy in a forum that is well suited for the topic and then evolve to be better suited in another forum.
What do we do then?
We have the choise to leave it where everyone knows where to find it, and continue the discussion there, or we move it and risk the popularity of the topic to dissappear because it's not where it was the last time I saw it.

I've said it a thousend times before; If you see something you believe a moderator ought to have look at PM one of us. This goes for moving topics, deleting posts, remove topics and have a chat to someone who breaks the rules of Esato.

At the end of all this I'd like to add; There is more Moderators in here than Masseur. The poor chap is the one most visible and easiest to grab a hold of but he seems to get just about everything.
Please use the rest of Team Esato as well. It spreads out the work on to all of us and not just one single moderator.

When i was a newbie, i thought mobile phone free zone was the forum to post freely about mobile phones!! So many of my mobile phone related threads ended up there! I'm not joking. :-D

Not convinced. I think that tge forum sections cover pretty much every area of mobile use, sometimes it can be tricky deciding to post, for example, in software or technical, but, as long as its on there somewhere, you will get an answer
