Hi

I'm getting a dss-25 sync station tomorrow and want to update my firmware. Is davinci the best place to do it? I've got a branded O2 k700i. Where is the best place for me to do this can I use SEUS?

How much will it cost and how long does it take? Should I transfer all my ringtones, pix, vids to my pc before I start?

Thanks in advance......

;-D

SEUS is free but O2 users can NOT use it. At the moment I think only unbranded and some Orange phones are supported.

You'll need to use Setool or Davinci - recommend Setool, for which you'll need a T28 cable service.

Search the forums for info on how to unbrand your phone using Setool.

how many credits do I need from Davinci if I just want to flash my phone with the latest version of firmware but not debrand it?

Will my warranty be affected if I update the firmware? If it is should I debrand the phone from O2 as well?

I don't think SEUS affects the warranty, but the DIY methods will. You may as well debrand it too. I don't know about Davinci but SEUS will debrand AND upgrade for 1 credit, and future upgrades are free after that. Unlocking costs 1 further credit.

I don't think I can use SEUS though as I'm on O2 or has this been fixed so O2 users can flash now?
