Hi!

I have a massive problem with my T610 camera. The colors are inverted. I'd better show you.

Pic of a BLUE car on a snowy day (today!)

Pic of a GREEN pack of mints:

If I turn the camera's negative feature on, the same mints look like this:

I was expecting to shoot 640x480 as well; I don't have the option to do this.
Is my phone broken? I just got it yesterday!

Thanks all.

Have you switched the phone off and on? If that doesn't work- try a master reset. The last resort would be a visit to a SE service centre! Also, i doubt whether the T610 can take pics at 640*480!

Hehe nice pics. take it to SE and get it replaced. Show them the pictures. Btw, is the colours like that on the screen or does it turn up like this only after capture, or on transfering to pc?

Back to the shop it is then!
I didn't expect this from a SE phone. Still, that's what I get for buying a reconditioned "good as new" phone, eh?

It shows up like that on the screen whilest viewfinding and when browsing pictures. I thought at first it might just be on my phone screen (I'm used to a T68i), but transfering to a PC only makes the green & purple more vivid.

Hehe... anyone wanna buy it as a curiosity piece?

Edit:
Have just tried master reset (phone only, not data) and turned on/off serveral times. No joy.

You'll most probably get a new replacement handset. Infact, you should insist for that.

It certainly is weird! Its not even as though the whole picture is negative, just some colours!

Oh, and the T610 doesn't have 640x480 resolution

OK, thanks guys!

It looks like my problem is kinda unique, I did google & esato searches before posting & couldn't find anything.

Odd that the silver logo on the front of the car shows up as red...

Grrr, I'm kind of annoyed with it.

It's from www.virginmobile.com

I'm not badmouthing Virgin, they are a fantastic company, and I've actually got a few thousand pounds invested in them. But my camera sucks!

Buying online is just like buying from a shop. You actually get more rights online with the distance selling act.

The only problem with that is, faulty goods must be posted back to the place you bought them. So I've no problems with posting it back to them for a replacement.

I'm a big advocate of buying online, I think it's great. Just use a Visa card, and be carefull.
