Ok ive done it!

Its ok i suppose!

- Video length now says "Messaging or Normal" instead of "Unlimited or Normal"

- The gallery responds faster

- The T9 symbol appears different

- Keypad unlocks automatically when swiveled open

- Overall a faster phone!

- Photos take a lot quicker in night mode

- Video appears to be slightly better quality

I just upgraded mine to R3k too. The bad thing is I just lost all languages on the phone except English, that's mean no Swedish or other Nordic languages left on the phone but SMS languanges are still left .. A buggy maybe or..
But R3K is still R3K, much faster meny, nad phone number buggy was fixed, auto unlock when u wrid it...
Still great..

My S700i that I just updated to R3K still makes a horrible noise when you take a photo, even in silent mode. It could be dependant on which market the phone is designed for, like UK versions cant be silenced.

... so let me get this straight, if you have a UK Vodafone branded phone, you cannot update the software through SEUS?

Your operator does not approve the usage of this service for this device.
We look forward to assist you again soon.
Thank you for using Sony Ericsson Update Service!
"
