Obviously not...that's a big ripp-off. You should pay roughly the equavalent(?) price all over. I'd rather wait another 6 months when things have calmed down.

Yesterday i just saw a PSP and was shocked hearing its price which was 18.5 k . And by the way sony has not even launched its PSP in india . I have heard that it cost around 250 usd in usa.

@nitesh: on second thought US$250 is more expensive than a "slimline" PS2...and plus the major downside is that the PSP comes with proprietary media storage.
