Its a pretty good price for the specs for internet surfing anfd emails and word processing. I used it as a second laptop via wifi and for streaming itunes to my bedroom. 
A G4 ibook is £600, this is half the price.

comes with cd, e-manuals, charger, battery, cant remeber which verison of the opertaing doftware is on it, I will check asap.
Can prob suppply "evaluation" copy of office for mac with it also.

got it in the last two months. Think its running MAC os but not sure which version, again I can check for you.

should be running OSX Aqua.
If you've upgraded to Panther and have been doing latest system updates you should have 10.3.8
otherwise, 10.3.7

also did you get it new 2 months ego, any warenty left?
and i only really need this laptop for the web, office documents and to play dvd, does it do all these thing or is it very slow?

Its the Aqua that Amnesia said but my friend has offered to put Panther on it for me for any prospective buyer. Its fairly quick for office/email/internet, but not entirely sure if it has a dvd drive, never played a dvd on there, i will check.

It'll be a G3 500Mhz processor. The current models have G4 processors @ 1.2 or 1.33 Ghz
I had one exactly the same until very recently. Sold it for £300. It was ok for light internet use, but not as speedy as more up to date models. Mine was a touch over 3 years old when I sold it. Lasted me well though, and my friend who bought it off me think its great compared to her aging Windows PC.
