Anyone know HOW to work it?
I never noticed it before as I use BT more often but tried to use IR with my laptop to send a ringtone over and I can't FIND my IR link on the phone.
Where is it ?

Switch on the ir on the t610, then start the camera on your k700 and look at that bit of the phone using the k700 camera. You'll see the ir lighting up. This message was posted from a Z600 *edit* You need to actually send something for it to light up.

Yepp....
There is an IR-window on the T610 and as pointed out to you, it is located at the top of the phone - to the left of the powerswitch.
I can assure you that it is there, as I am a certified T610 mech repair technician.... =D (not as impressing as one could think, perhaps, but I doubt that I'd miss such a detail while working on the little bugger).
They used a special design and a special kind of plastic on the T610 to make sure you did not see the IR-window. But it works fine, as long as you turn it on beforehand.
Nice tip using the camera, though. Never thought about that, really. =)

In the diagram where it shows the IR mine is closed in (part of the cover) NO IR is visible.

the IR will not be visible... it is a special type of plastic (as explained above) the IR beam goes through that particular part of the cover |
