if you gonna write a message, and want to delete some unnecessary letters or words at a time, this tip can help you.

if you hold up or the down the volume keys, then click the arrows keys or press the joystick either up or down, depending on what you want to delete - this will highlight or mark several words and and even lines of text at once - and finally just press "c" button to delete

thanks for twilightwap for this tip though its very useful.

Yeah, I just found this out not too long ago.

Thanks.

I have learned of another tip to work with editing text but could not get it to work:

When editing a contact you supposedly can:

* + 1 - cut
* + 2 - copy
* + 3 - paste

Has anyone had any success with this?

I also want to know if there is a way to cut, copy and paste text in the T68i.

I'm starting to believe the *-hold-1 *-hold-2 *-hold-3 trick only works for cutting, copying and pasting contacts in your phone book. Can anyone verify this? Also, does this method apply to Caledar items and Notes, too? Or can you only cut, copy and paste contacts?

Thanks - T68iFan

volume key + arrow works in all text messages.

* +1, +2 or +3 work only for editing info fields of contacts

But isn't there anything like a general copy paste and clipboard?
