Is it possible to rename a pic that's inside the camera pictures folder without removing it from the folder. I'm using a K700i, and the only way i've been able to rename a pic is by using the edit feature, but when i save, it save's itself outside the folder!! I'd also like to know how to move a picture into that folder. Thanx |

there have been several discussions on this but unfortunately you cannot rename pics inside the camera folder and you can't move pics back to the camera folder once you have moved them out and renamed etc

SE does seem to like putting some unexpected limitations into their firmware sometimes. surely a folder is a folder unless there is something special about pics in the camera folder apart from the naming convention

I just tried. I renamed a pic in the camera folder and it saved in the same place but with a different name. Pics once moved outside cannot be moved back in.

I guess that must have changed with recent firmware then because there was no rename option in the camera folder when I had a K700. I've just checked my sons which I updated recently and yes, the option is there. well spotted

Cool! I can finally do that, in R2C or whatever, I was always annoyed about that, but I updated to R2AE with my Dad's P910 sync stand, (DSS-25). and now I can.
Just another reason to update your Kx00
