We all know messengers like MSN and Yahoo, but does any one know any alternatives like zango? If you do, please can you send the address and whats it called, thank you.

Well, jabber is an instant messaging protocol, but the client I use for it is Miranda. http://jabber.elitesecurity.org , u can find a list of im clients there.

I also heard about some XMPP, but i never tryed it out, so i dont know how it works.

I don't know of any alternatives, apart from Jabber, but a good multi-IM client is Trillian (search for it or cerulean studios). For mobile phones, Agile messenger is very good, I use it on my N-Gage QD with no problems.
