Am i using WAP or GPRS?
Basically, 3 accounts have been setup, for each of the above.
Virgin GPRS, "connects to" "Virgin GPRS" in data comm menu,
Virgin(WAP) "connects to" "Virgin" in data comm menu, and
Picture Message, "connects to" "Virgin GPRS (why doesnt it connect to GPRS MMS?) in the data comm menu.
In the preferred service section there is two options. One says GPRS and GSM, the other says GSM only. How do I know which Im using? | |

GPRS account will use GPRS.
WAP account will use GSM.
I don't know whate phone your using but on P-Series GSM connection is shown by a globe with a phone over it while GPRS connection is a plain globe

I've worked out how to tell.
Its a T610 and the reason why it only gave the pref, GSM only or GSM and GPRS, is because if GPRS is not avaliable, then it can switch to normal GSM, which I believe it WAP, right?
To tell if im using GPRS, there is a blue triangular bar over the signal strength, if its there, but its empty, then it means the phone cannot use GPRS. The globe appears for both of them
