hi everyone,,
I appreciate all help for this,,,
It seems that my Tungsten T does not recognize my k500i,,,I tried the Palm website, they only have phone link update for the k700,,,so I am not able to communicate via infra red so far....any ideas please? | |

The link update for the K700 will also work for K500i.

many thanks for ur reply...
I downloaded the updater from the palm website, which states it includes that for k700, but yet, the palm only has t610 on its minue,,,,,,trying to test infra red connection, it asks me to download the proper driver for my phone!! any ideas where to go to ? |

I'm using the tungsten t5 with my z600, and as far i can remember, i had to make a softreset after installing the phonelink update from palm. After that, everything worked just great. Hope it work for you too, which i believe it will:-)

I tried a reset,,still not working!!!!! may be I should just wait till a new driver for the k500 arrives,,I think it is a relatively new phone... |

Did you try the K700 drivers? I'm sure it will work.

yes I tried the k700 driver,, I mean it is supposed to be included in the phone link update, but on trying to make a new connection, only the T 68 appears in the minue,,,no other phones!!!!may be I should install the driver separately, but there is no a prc file(palm) that refers to a k700,,,although other files referring to the nokias and seimens are present! | |
