Hi all, anyone know how many photos (6x4) a 128MB and 256MB memory card can hold? It's actually more for my camera but I want one that's going to store plenty of photos?

That's the one, looking at my camera (Sony Cybershot) it appears to only take standard memory Cards so the top size is 128MB.

A typical 640x480 image is about 95KB (jpg) so that would be around 1380 pics in a 128MB.
resistance is futile.

A colleague has just told me that it will have to be a SONY memory stick as it's a Sony product, is that correct? I was going to get a Lexar memory Stick which is way cheaper???

no as long as its a memory stick duo, it doesnt matter who makes it.
Sandisk make the Sony ones anyway
so a lexar one would be fine. [addsig]

It's just a standard Memory Stick, it won't take a duo? Is that still OK?

Brand doesn't matter as long as it's a Memory Stick.
resistance is futile.
