Nope. Cannot be done. You can either try to put in a theme that cleverly disguises the logo.

Yes possible to change, i will have a look at this, Operator strings are located in Main firmware, these can be edited then flashed back to the phone. But i hope to make a simpler method without full reflash.

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Wat you see in that pic is most prob a screenshot from themes editor...it displays sony ericsson instead of operator.

Yep that looks like it because it is a screenshot which looks like it was taken from a themes creator (theme creator 3g can do this for previews only)

That does not change the fact that its possible.

Yeah true, i remember seeing a thread linking to a tutorial on cellular-support.com where the person edited the firmware resulting in being able to change the logo.

But as its been said before, messing with the firmware could be very risky

Why is messing with firmware risky? 100% impossible to kill SEMC phone with software, only way is by hammer, brick etc
