Hi!
Windows XP-users can't see homepages with automatic JAVA downloads. I use Windows XP Prof. and when I go to:
http://se-fun.homepage.dk I see this:
"We're sorry. Automatic installation of Microsoft Virtual Machine is no longer provided for Microsoft Windows XP."
So please be carefull working with JAVA, because XP-users
just can't see the homepages or buttons etc.
p.s. By the way, there is no problem with the normal HTML- or PHP-documents.
Greetings,
TheCrow

Oh right!
I've built a very crappy homepage just using HTML but I've got myself a proper web design package now to look at if I ever get the time.
Didn't know what you mentioned though!

Well sorry to say that but it works just fine for me, I use Win XP proffesional and it's a fresh installation ( 3 days ago, had very very important problems with the registry, solution: format c: ). I have everything from the "Windows update" but I don't think that the JAVA is included so I think that it's a problem with your configuration. If not go to www.sun.com to download the JAVA machine for WINDOWS XP |
