is there any way to store phone nos. directly on sim in sony ericsson t230 handset. i m fed up of trying this in all kind. plz give any suggestion guys.

One way to do it is using cable (15 euros) and some pc program- e.g. Float's mobile agent. The easier way is to put your sim card in some phone which can do it.

Type 1234 in sms and save it to drafts, go back highlight it and go to options, there you will find save on sim. Select that. Now edit number and name and select save.

More detailed explanation: GO to messages > text>write new> typ 1234 > press "no"> the phone displays "saved in unsent". Now, go to messages > text> unsent> go to the message you just wrote and by scrolling down, highlight the number and press the options key. In the options, select "save 1234". You'll see three options. Select save on sim.
