the pc can c the phone, the problem i guess is the msi soft, it does not save the settings and each time i must re-enter the settings

I'v got the exact same problem!
I'm using a SE T610 with vodafone branding.

The settings won't be saved and there are no services visible.
It's impossible to use the software.

edit1:
this is how the select services dialog looks like:
http://equinox.homelinux.net/public/uplfolders/upload4/bss.jpg

has anyone been able to solve this problem?

edit2:
ok, now I'm about to get a bit desperate. I'v uninstalled sp1 and removed everyting and anyting involving bluetooth. then installed from scratch following the guides I'v found on this foum. Still no luck.
No services, no ports, and the settings won't be saved. the f*ing (sorry) wizard keep popping up every time I open My bluetooth places.

And if that ain't enough, I think that I'm about to catch a cold. brrr..

Edit3:
Reinstalled windows with sp1 and the hotfix to get BT working. Nothing works. Same result as before. No services as far as the eye can see. I'v been sitting here for aprox. 9 h without getting anywhere.

Does anyone have any information about this problem? Is it even possible to solve? Is it software och hardware based? I stand at a complete loss right now.

I'v mailed MSI support but I got a feeling that they won't bother. The MSI forum had a topic describing the same problem I have but they couldn't solve it. but they didn't look in to it very much it seemed like.

Awww.. crap! 37,9 C fever. Just what I needed! :

MSI 6967 has a younger bud: Btoes

Anyone who has this? I'm just curious about a profile called "Hard Cable Replacement Profile", which isn't available in the MSI 6967

I have bought the new MSI 6970 (BToes) yesterday ( http://www.msi-polska.pl/program/products/communication/cmu/pro_cmu_detail.php?UID=449&MODEL=MS-6970 ). I'm still learning how to use it though. It's pretty confusing at first. Anything I can try out for you?

Thanks btw, for your reply in my thread.

uh, i think that should be 1.

the passkey is a set of numbers, not characters.

Just looked through approx 10 pages of this thread and can't find answer so I apologise sincerely if this has been asked before.

Environment;

Windows 2000 SP4, MSI 6967 latest drivers and Ericsson R4A comms suite.

Problem:

Dial up networking. Basically I can establish a connection and the phone will dial up but after 2 seconds the phone hangs up and the PC reports No answer. This happens no matter what number I dial.

Please help!!!!

Thanks in advance.

I just installed the new MSI drivers, and SE comm suite from the net....

The BT worked wonders for transfering pics , contacts, and etc...i got it to sync with outlook throught XTND..
'
howver i have a few questions:

1.)why does it sometimes loose conenction when i open a virtual comm port for serial port 1....when this happens i am not able to sync through XTND.....
2.)when i pair devices using my fone(t68i), the computer registers as a BT headset?...and still after a few seconds the BT connection gets cut
3.) how am i supposed to keep the connection open so i wont have anymre toruble when syncing?

@MartinEt68i
1) you're apps are fighting over the same COM port. change your settings so that each app uses a different serial port. (you can only use two at the same time)

@can1
you're subscribed to a CSD/HSCSD service right? that's a network service that allows you to make mobile data connections with regular phone lines

I've just bought a MSI Btoe Bluetooth USB dongle for about 34 euros (approx. USD$39). They're getting quite cheap now, these bluetooth dongles.

I have a MS-6967 Bluetooth dongle and would like to know if it is possible to send notes from outlook to my T610? I can send it from the phone to my PC, but can't seem to find a way of sending it the other way round.

anyone using a different driver, other than the msi version 1.3.1?

i'm looking for a driver that would have the advanced configuration tab active so i can change the power level that my adapter uses. (the original driver has this feature, but subsequent releases (including the drivers from tecom) removed them.)
