just been browsing the web re memory sticks and stumbled across this information???
any ideas if its true or not cos they are selling the cards:
"The Memory Stick DuoPro is similar to the Memory Stick Duo, except that it increases the memory size even further. The DuoPro is not compatible with older models but is compatible with the following Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones: Z1010, S700i and P910i."
if its true im getting a DUO PRO

in currently released phones only P910i and V800 can use PRO duo so that information is incorrect
edit: and yes, PRO duo also works in P900 upgraded with P910 firmware

The Duo Pro doesn't work with the S700 for sure. The P910- yes. Not sure about Z1010.

MS Pro Duo doesn't work on Z1010 that's for sure. That is why my mem cant be greater than 128MB |

Actually the phone (Z1010) is limited to use the technology in Memory Stick Duo, and MS Duo isn't better than it can handle 128MB. I know, it sucks... I think that SE should use SD-cards or something, much cheaper. But they have their own (MS Duo) so that they can make more money:P Everyone who has a SE phone has to buy a MS Duo if the want extended mem. |
