I have read that some people has had troubles with the newest firmware R2E006.

I just want to know your opinion whether it is worth upgrading or not.

Thanks,

Ramon

Under the "secret menu" >*<<*<* at service test is now a function Total time , so that you can see how lang you have been calling.

Another changes is the under ems is a new function, now you can send moving animations.

has anyone notice any other changes so far ?

It is worth upgrading, doesn't have the T9 lag anymore and there are some new features in the dictionary...

GPRS bug seems to be solved to. Have R2E006 for almost a week now, and never had the connecting problem anymore. With R2B025 I had it almost daily.

giorgio,
on R2B025, sometimes the SMS sender name is not recognized even if the sender is listed on the phonebook..

Is there anything good that disappears or good functions disappearing in the new SW? I heard that there were some good things taken away.

No good things have been taken away.

Especially since you have R2B025, you should definitely switch. Even the old R2A014 was much more stable than 025, sepecially for GPRS. I only had R2B025 for about two weeks, but I got totally mad about the repeated connecting problems with GPRS.

Also, the ability to write can't and isn't etc is very nice to have, especially when writing small posts to esato! (Otherwise I don't write in English so much).
