Hi. Hope you can help. I have bought a second hand P900 formerly on T-Mobile. I now use it on O2. Everything works fine but I cant get any internet connection or send/recieve MMS. It times out with the reason code 0x103. Also some of the settings are "greyed out" so I cant change them from T-Mobile. I have called Sony and O2 and they both say my settings are correct. I spoke to T-Mobile and they say that the settings are locked to T-Mobile and they cannot be changed. Any ideas before I sell the phone again? Cheers, Jeff.

Yeah, Ebay. No probs with the seller or Ebay though. Everything works great except for the internet and MMS. Tried my mates T-Mobile sim and it works fine. Its something to do with altering the greyed out settings I think. The only greyed out settings are the home address and the "preference" setting for connection. Apart from that the phone is perfect.

the wap settings in the phone have been locked to T-mobile. this is because you have bought a t-mobile branded phone.

only way to fix it is to flash it with generic firmware. this can be done at some outlets of carphone warehouse but they may charge you

hope you get it sorted...

I've got a problem with my email. I cannot get it to work ever!
I've got 02 (contract) and a k700 unbranded.
When I try to check my email I get "finding server" for about 5 mins and then it cancels out.
I've got the right pop3 settings (I've checked with my email company) I've got the wap/gprs/mms settings from 02 and I've tried both gprs and regular wap and nothing produces any results. Any suggestions?

Which pop3 account are you using. Looks like a problem from your email providers side. I'm facing a similar problem on mymail.ro.

My main account is fusemail but I definately have the right settings I got confirmation in the support forum:

I've also tried it with gmail and myrealbox and all come up with the same problem of never being able to find the server. I would like to blame 02 but blame doesn't get me emails

Yup. It does seem to be your gprs providers fault. Tried calling them up?
