Hi,
I have just bought a USB Data Cable for the T68. I have a laptop with internal Modem. Is it possible for me to use my mobile to dial into the laptop modem so as to connect to AOL ?
Will I need any software or is it straight forward?
Thanks in advance!!!! |

first, make sure that you have subscribed to data services from your network operator. second, configure dial-up networking using T68 cable modem. |

Actually I have only managed to dial into AOL using mobile phone using internal T68i modem. SO therefore it goes at very slow speed. Is there a way that I can use my USB Data cable (MA-8910C USB Fone Data Suite) and T68i to dial into my LAPTOP MODEM and thus connect to ISP at faster speed? |

you can *either* use your T68 or Notebook modem to dial-in to your ISP. If your mobile phone subscription is just CSD, then your limited to 9.6kbps. If you have subscribed to HSCSD, you may connect up to 28.8kbps from your T68. |

Thanks. My network is T-Mobile UK so GPRS is not yet avaliable. How though do I go about setting my ISP DIAL UP PROGRAM (AOL) to use my NOTEBOOK modem, but make the NOTEBOOK modem dial using the mobile telephone as its phone line rather than a non existant land line.
Will I need to download a program of some sort
P.S ...... I allready have data services enabled with T-Mobile |
