Hi,

After reading all those positive comments, I also bought the HBH-30, but I have a problem with it.

Everything works expect my speech comes out garbled at the other end. I do understand the other end with no problem.

Link for an example

I hope I don't have a faulty one, because I'm from Belgium and ordered it in the UK, I'm afraid of the warranty issues...

any help is appreciated.

Is this the first bluetooth headset you use with the T39?

So I did some more tests with two other T39m, all with the same result. But after some testing more I found the problem, when I used it in the car to call someone, the call was perfect (according to the correspondent).

The only thing that is common with the two locations are the cordless phones. At home I have a dect phone and at work I have one too, the computers was discarded as problem because I home I did the test in the garden.

So know I can start using the headset as normal.

i think you have a broken hbh-30.ericsson told me that they tested the HBH-10 and HBH-15 i defirent rooms and alsow if there was any interfirence of a radio, dect phone, mobile phone's, ...
there was no problem whit the dect phone's so i think you'rre HBH-30 is broken.
what colour does your T39 have?

Some update from my phone, I have a ice cap blue version. I have version R2K on my phone, my one collegue had R2M and the other collegue sometime R4... (I don't remember)

They all had the same problem, one thing that is common too is the wireless network. At home and at work we have a 802.11b wireless network.

In the coming week I'll try to experiment without 802.11b and/or dect. Will keep you posted.

802.11b or Wi-Fi is using 2.4Ghz like Bluetooth?

That could be the only reason for it but this should not happen as HBH-10,15 and 20 would be the best product tester on the interference between Wifi and Bluetooth.

BTW, isn't that ericsson giving world wide warranty to Europe user?

I am from Asia and they are giving local warranty so I won't be ordering the headset from expansys etc...

I choose the color because I like it. I had the choice between the three colors: white, dark blue and ice cap blue. I find white not a color for a mobile, the dark blue was too dark (I think the phone doesn't look that nice in that color) and the ice cap blue really suits this mobile.

I've got some strange reactions from people, saying that I'm a sizzy because it's a women color or a color for a gay person (I'm male and not gay), but I don't care about it, I just like the color.
