R600 and Data Cable |

I have used my current data cable with T68i and T65 and it works fine with software like Send File, Phone Backup, MyPictures etc. But when I connect the R600 NONE of these software work. Any idea ?
Also noticed an interesting feature, when cable is connected, screen on R600 displays Data Port Open and when disconnected Data Port Closed.
Any special software needed ? Is cable working ? | |

I've had the very same experience, and I think the cable is working, but, as far as I know, no current software is working with the R600. According to Sony Ericsson Customer Care Center, SE have no plans on realising software for the R600. |

Thatīs right! I mailed them about it and they wonīt release any software that works with R600. Thatīs bad because you have to download background pictures and screensavers from WAP-sites. You can make your own pics and upload and download them from Ericssonīs site but itīs worse with screensavers. I havenīt found any to download for R600 and canīt make my own, because Ericsson support refuses to tell me how  . All the cable let you do is to let you use R600 as a modem. | |
