How can I read Russian Fonts on the T68i? People can send me SMS messages at (my phone number)@voicestream.net and I want to be able to read e-mails from people who can type Russian in an e-mail. Please e-mail me with any help at conrad@planept.com

your phone can automatically read russian (or any other language--e.g. hebrew or arabic) fonts, at least if they're sent from another t68. i know, because mine could display hebrew messages even when i just bought it in hong kong (at the time, it had just english and chinese installed on it), although at the time, of course, i couldn't WRITE in hebrew or russian or anything else (since i didn't have that language pack). then, i got it upgraded a couple of times (now it's the MMS version), and got them to replace the chinese language pack with the language pack that includes hebrew, russian, arabic/farsi, french and english. now, i can both write and receive messages in any of these languages (just haven't tried the arabic/farsi because i don't speak the languages). i've tried sending russian and hebrew messages from phone to phone, works fine (even several languages combined in one message). i've also tried sending hebrew e-mail from a computer and reading it on the phone, works fine too. haven't tried that with russian (because i don't have russian installed on the computer), but i assume that if it works with hebrew from the computer to the phone, there's no reason it shouldn't work with russian... if you want, i can send you an SMS in russian.

Yeah man, I received it. Thanks very much! Hihi,

I got the Russian put on my T68m and then sold it to a stupid azeri for 500 EURO, when I only bought it for 450 Euro three months before...

Now I have the T68i and it came with Dutch/French/English/Danish. I use these languages most of the time with my friends in Belgium and France... I wish they had a phone with Nl/Fr/Ger/Eng/Es/Ru that would be perfect for me
You're lucky because you speak most of the languages on your language pack

Yeah, reading Russian has never been a problem. Even on T28 which did not have an option to input Russian characters - it would still present Cyrillic fonts correctly. It even had a Russian Menu option which my T39m lacks. It does have Cyrillic input option which I use quite a lot, though. It was a little painful in the beginning, because there is no Russian layout for the phone keys, but I got used to it pretty fast and type relatively quick now
Does anyone know if such a thing as "international Chatboard CHA-10" exists? I would love to have that chatboard with dual English/Cyrilllic character set on it Duh, I suppose it'd be too much to ask for

arroyootje -- cool, i'm glad it worked. it's kinda annoying that they have the languages organized into these "language packs", like they know better than us which combinations of languages we need on our phones... why can't they just let you choose, say, 4-6 languages to have on your phone? that would be ideal... you'd get just the ones you need, and no extra ones that you don't (and therefore also no memory wasted...)
