Let's take it backwards up. Mail you? What do you think I've been doing under the name quintessentialnirmal? Don't mail him anymore, use my id jainshubhanyu@gmail.com and tell how to access without restrictions. Windows 2003? Won't XP with SP2 suffice? And what sold has .Net gotta play? Firefox doesn't work now. Earlier did. Any solution? And yes, it was just for the sake of argument we were writin like that. I hereby declare to all that I am sorry for my conduct. Thank you. And yes, cheers. |

Accessing Internet on the PC through HutchWorld (Rs. 99 per month GPRS subscription) is not worth it.
The maximum bandwidth you can get connected at is 9 kbps but the throughput varies from 10 bps to 4 kbps. You'll have to wait for a long time for the web page to render. Further, if you are accessing secure sites, the delay is too much to bear. Downloads are unreliable.
Time is precious, you can't afford to waste your time though the Internet connection is free. |

I don't think anybody is doingthat for useful purposes... We're just trying to outsmart Hutch here..

You'll have to register at one of the aforementioned sites and you will get instructions on how to set up.

Hi my name is Ravi Sagar.
I m using Airtel Delhi. I was able to connect to Internet on my PC using GPRS.
Initially I was not able to view any other site except Airtel Live Home Page.
Then I did folllowing changes:
1. changed airtelfun.com to airtelmms.com
It worked just once and I was able to open all sites(On PC). But when I tried second time It didnt work.
2. Changed 100.1.200.99 to 100.001.200.99
It also worked and I was able to open all sites( On PC and Mobile) but again when i tried second time it didnt work
Is there any way I can access Blocked sites by airtel. I know it is possible coz i have been successful twice.
There is no restirction on Airtel Postpaid. So If you know the settings then please give me.
Thanks and Regards,
Ravi Sagar

HutchWorld (Rs. 99 per month GPRS subscription) supports WAP 1.0 (WML) and WAP 2.0 (XHTML/cHTML) by default, which is accessed through the phone's WAP browser. It also supports HTTP/S which can be accessed through the phone's HTML browser.
HTTP/S can be accessed on the PC via HutchWorld proxy but the connection is pathetic.
Hutch is aware of each and every action of their subscribers. Therefore, the question of outsmarting them doesn't arise at all!
