Is there a way to get the phone to use the chip mem instead of using the phone mem by defult?
Why, because I pefer to use the sim lock and if somebody steals my phone they will not be able to get to my phone book... |

not aware of this being possible but for the security, enablethe simlock & phone lock in Security settings.

Automatic phone lock only works when you replace another sim card.
The phone will ask you to input phone PIN when switch on.

Phone lock:
On - Phone asks for pin everytime phone is powered on.
Automatic - Phone asks for pin only when another simcard is used.
ie. prevents someone who finds/stole your phone from putting their sim in it and using it.
Off - as stated
note: Phone lock is independant of Sim lock, if Phonelock is set to On & Sim lock is On you will be asked to enter 2 pin numbers, therefore setting Phone lock to Automatic will suit most users.
ps needless to say - change your pin numbers from default settings.

I don't think so. I also prefer to use the SIM memory in case I have to change to a different phone. Although after only having my T68i for not very long I wouldn't want to move to a different phone. I have read the manual and played about with the phone and seached around here (what a great site). Think you have to stick with the phone memory.
