One thing i know for sure is that it is prohibitively expensive. Must be around 4 k! Just a wild guess!

Vineet paid 14k for his coolpix with 512 stick, when with 128 stick it was 12.5k. That means about 2.5k for 512 stick. A guesstimate works 1gig at 4k-5k.

No, you wont get a 250 gig hdd for that price. I'm not even sure it is out. The largest i have heard of is 160gig hdd from samsung.

@masseur, why go for a 250 gig one, when you can buy 2x160 gig? For the same amount?

my wifes PC was already maxed out in the hard drive bays and I had to remove a 80gb drive to get that one in!
I guess this is a bit off topic though but you can never compare solid state memory prices with hard drives price of course

@Shyam how much for the 400gig one? @masseur, you might want to check out the 1tb hdd. Is that one stable? My hands will start to shake if i'm holding the 1tb hdd! Thats a LOT of memory.

well I guess we are well and truly off topic now
250gb was the biggest I could find on ebay and for £100 not a bad price. the way my wife goe sthrough hard drive space with all her graphic design I'll probably need a complete raid setup with several tb!
but for now I'm taking the simple approach
