Does anybody know where I can find instructions on how to do this?

The only way possible would be to pull the old one off, it is stuck on with glue and then glue the new one on.

Would I have to remove all of the housing to do this?

What sort of glue should I use?

It would be best if you removed the housing and then you removed the faceplate part.

I used superglue but i am not too sure on whats best for it but superglue worked fine.

If you remove the housing first then it would be easier to make sure glue doesnt spill onto the electronics when you glue it on.

any type of super glue would probobly hold

Yep when the old faceplate part on my cover was coming apart and it worked fine

you should have just bought a new housing. then it when have been alot easier and you wouldnt have to f**k with glue.

Thats right so next time you want to change the faceplate, it is better to change housing instead
