I have the above car and want to get a BT carkit for my P900. I have the factory Sat Nav which has it own speaker and mutes the stereo (fact fit) but i need a definitive answer on whether i can get it wired through the speakers and if i can get it to mute the stereo, or just one of the two etc....

Anyone?

i dont know the answer to yr question, but i have followed this situation closely since i have an rx300 with sat nav and mute-ing, etc etc/
i can say that toyota is being verrry slow with getting a factory fitted solution.
here in japan it is rumored that a system wide bluetooth solution will arrive in late summer; this would route incoming calls through the regular sound system (i dont know where the mike would fit; and you could answer yr calls by pressing the button on the steering column.
i have been waiting over 1 year. lets see if this materializes in summer 2005...

I have just got a bmw 1 series and it has a shit load of wires- basically you can get the kit fitted - you need to find the right harness - my suggestions is that you goto siocommunications or autoleads and they will be able to suggest a harness. You may also need to get in touch with lexus service for info.

I got the HCB 300 car kit fitted today - spent 2 hrs driving during the day- it was excellent. Used it across 2 phones clarity usability was excellent.

if you need any help pm me.
