in the service menu there is an oprtion for text labels, what is this? Can i use it to change labels for different thins as there are dirrerent messages for charging etc |

you can't change anything in there and indeed alot of the ones shown aren't even used

Like my T230 which has IR related texts in that menu! Its basically the collection of all messages the phone might give you during various stages of its usage.

ok thanks. i was hoping i could change my bluetooth message so it would tell me who was trying to connect, like nokia phones do. oh well |

You can just view those messages in the text label menu. You can't change or edit them.
