I have had a week to play with some new phones and was impressed by all of them in one way or another.

SE S700i 8/10
Nokia 9500 7.5/10
Moto V3 6.5/10
Samsung D500 6/10
Nokia 6630 8.5/10

Out all of them i like the s700i for it's screen and camera (6630 isn't far behind) but hate opening up the damm thing to sms ect , 6630 for the os,camera,mp3 , v3 for sytle but still the same os as the v500/600 ect, d500 for the camera and thats it ,Nokia 9500 way to big for me but what great features but not a very good camera.
If i had to choose a winner it would be the 6630 (much quicker than the 6600/7610) closely followed by the s700i.
Still think the 3310 is the best

S700 has more than 9500

@Ing. FijoK: S700 has more what than the 9500? Two different classes of devices, so comparing them ain't really right. But let's forget that temporarily and the 9500's specs sheet & capabilities make the S700's look like a toy.

@Ing. FijoK: That is the poster's flawed judgement, IMHO. The phones he compared belonged to different classes. 9500 a symbian communicator, S700 a media device, and... what's the other one? Rating a 9500 against a P910 would be a sound exercise, for example.

@Ing. FijoK: My pleasure. But I would still love to have a week in which I get to play with all those great phones! Oh, just the thought of it...

Opinion is all down to the users requirements.

A businessman wanting to e-mail, and open/edit/read documents etc. will clearly prefer the 9500.

But your everyday person that just wants a good imaging phone with great screen and camera will go for the S700i.

As you said, the phones are in different classes, and in my opinion are among the top phones in their respective categories.

I know I'd keep the 6630. The only other one I like out of those is the S700i, but it's too big/thick for my liking, and I'm not too convinced about the form factor either.

Please remember these are my views on what functions i need a phone device for.
If i were a business man then the 9500 would win with flying colours, truly a superb piece of kit but I do not need 50% of the functions so that is why some of the other phones recieved higher scores.
At the moment i have the 6630 and i must say it is a great phone, the os speed is superb along with the just the amount of functions i need and it is a social phone you could have it in your trouser pocket unlike the 9500 where you would recieve some strange comments
If the 6630 had the s700i screen then i would be rating this phone the best i have had in a long time, thats the only - point of the 6630 it is the same old 6600 screen. Sound quality is great, video in full screen,3g,good mp3,tones of apps and games and a fast 220mhz cpu to run it all with.
Anyone who likes Nokia phones will really enjoy the 6630.

The 6630 is a perfect phone for me. Smartphone capabilities, EDGE, are the main things i'm looking for. Its got it both. :-)
