Hi does anyone successfully browse wap or download files over EDGE? Is it really much faster than GPRS? Is p910 EDGE enabled too? Nokia has been churning out many EDGE phones recently. Hopefully se will release more. Oh by the way, these questions are only 4 countries with EDGE services. Thanks. :-)

EDGE is really faster than normal gprs. You get prefer of about 176kbps normally. And yes its really very sad that SE doesn't have many EDGE enabled phones.

@whizkidd
SE's main markets seem to be in Western Europe, which is unlikely to see EDGE implemented in the near future, if at all. Therefore it wouldn't make much sense for SE to include EDGE support in the majority of its products.

@whiz: btw, EDGE gives 386kbps (practically 200+)

S710a has edge and you have to be on a provider that supports edge.

Debu, you get only 170- 200 kbps in reality. But yes, it is capable of 300+. Pretty fast eh?!
