I'm not sure, but I heard from work that once a MS product has been purchased under the license, it cannot be resold or returned to the store, and can only be returned to MS themselves. Only what I heard though, seems a harsh rule to me.

I don't actually know anybody that has bought Windows XP .. even though it's really good.
