I think this topic might have been mentioned before but i just like to share for the benefit people who might not know yet...
Ok in the "Write New" when you press the "1"(3 times) u'll be able to get 4 smilies on the drop down menu...they are:
(Happy Smily),
(Sad Smily),
"no example" (Smoochie Smily) &
(Wink Smily)
Ok try this, instead of pressing 1 three times,
1) Press "1" twice, followed by "3"
You'll get a (Smiling Smily)
2) Press "1" twice, followed by "5"
You'll get a :-I (No expression Smily)
Voila! U are able to access all the smilies in your T630 without ever going to "Add symbol"
I dunno about other SE phones but u can try it out...!! Enjoy!!!

Thats strange. You need to press 1 three times and you will be able to see the smileys. Hey! Is T9 dictionary on?

Not sure if this one works with the T630 but I'll mention it anyways, you can add more smilies too, go to write a new text/more/spell word then try typing in [:] you should then get a square smiley geeza appear if your phone supports it (K700 does)
Select insert and it'll add it to your words and also to your smiley drop down menu when you press the 1 button 3 times you will now have smiley square geeza, your mates will wonder whats going on !

Damn shame whizz, there are some more but assuming they wont work if that didn't. If I sent you a txt with it in then all you would get would be [:]
