Title: The Terminal

Synopsis: It tells the story of Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks), a visitor to New York from Eastern Europe, whose homeland erupts in a fiery coup while he is in the air en route to America. Stranded at Kennedy Airport with a passport from nowhere, he is unauthorized to actually enter the United States and must improvise his days and nights in the terminal's international transit lounge until the war at home is over. As the weeks and months stretch on, Viktor finds the compressed universe of the terminal to be a richly complex world of absurdity, generosity, ambition, amusement, status, serendipity, and even romance with a beautiful flight attendant named - Amelia (Catherine Zeta-Jones). But Viktor has long worn out his welcome with airport official - Frank Dixon, who considers him a bureaucratic glitch, a problem he cannot control but wants desperately to erase.

Krubach - Well I guess I have to take your thoughts mate I posted 'almost' the entire images that can be viewed in the movie itself, so that the potential watcher will not waste some money in buying it's video By reading and viewing the synopsis and the posted images, 'am sure that the result would be as if they've already watched the movie - itself mate . . . OK, supposing the movie has 110 mins, that's 6600 seconds. At 24 frames per second thats 158400 frames...hmmm...OK...you just missed 7. [addsig]

Does anyone know 'other' flicks in the past which has the very same plot . . . similar to this one I do recall one, the movie - Airport '77 , though it was more of a tragedy (crash) scenario. There is also this more recent one which was really hilarious which stars the protagonist in the movie - Naked Gun 33 1/3, white hair most of his flicks were 'comedy' ones . . . sorry 'forgot the title here ! well i loved the movie.i loved the scene when tom hanks starts earning salary even more than th airport manager or whatever he was.well a good movie to watch
