Lol, yep theres no point trying...even if you do get it onto the comps it will be deleted after a little while when the technicians see that its been downloaded

quite often all the it team do is delete the shortcut to msn messenger therefore if you go into the c-drive of the computer then either the windows directory or program files directory you will find the program file in there and can jus click it and get it running. this is the case with the computers at university. |

Alot of schools/colleges (ones with 'good' networks anyways) its not possible to use ANY (even the web based ones). This is because your not actually on the internet, your viewing a cached version of webpages etc.
This makes the internet quite passive but means nothing can make direct connections out - apart from allready specified things.
See if your web proxy is Navaho (alot of UK schools are moving to that now). |
