How do i set up my Email on a K700i? When i try to email a picture to my hotmail account, it comes up with connection failed, and goes back to the send screen. I really need to set this up because i am taking photos for a school project, and don't have infared, bluetooth or a usb cable on my computer.
Cheers

I don't think hotmail has pop3 mail access. Sign up for a free pop3 mail account like that of mymail.ro, enter the settings in your phone and You're ready!

The most simple solution to your problem is to choose to send it via picture msg, then when your at the stage where you would normally enter a telephone number. Enter in an e-mail address. |

True, but also the most expensive. Email is tricky to set up, but once done, you only pay the GPRS charge for the picture (about 10p for a 30-40k pic), rather than the standard network cost.
Post here if you need any more help with setting up the client in your phone, I have mine set up and sends and receives just fine using Yahoo UK.

Post the settings you used, i.e. server names and so forth. If there's anything I can see wrong, I'll let you know. |

Try using the server IP addresses instead. Open a DOS prompt and type ping followed by the server name, it will return the IP address for the server. I used to have to do this on my old T68i, maybe it will work for you. |
