I agree, by accident the other day i attempted to throw it my T68 on to a chair on my landing but missed and it fell down 3 floors and hit the floor. Still works fine although to be fair was a carpeted floor

@ ed!

T68 is indeed solid. It was dropped several times accidentally by me. Still, no problems
I'm member #100 on this website. I think!

You people are either extremely clumsy or you just like to put your T68s through some kind of endurance tests?

Mine is a long story! Put it this way I don't agree the T68 is half as strong as some people believe! I think most peolpe smacking their phones around have been lucky - just in my opinion. Out of all the phones I've ever owned the T68m/i is the most prone to faults/damage.

As I said long story...

I´ve been using mine at work for almost a month now, drilling in concret roofs etc. - dusty enviroment so to say.

And all I can say is that it still works but gets "ugly" because of all the dirt!

And that it keeps turning off while having it in my pocket - when sitting on my knees or leaning against something. And that SUCKS!! No matter what people keeps saying - its a BUG not a FEATURE

Probably getting a "work" phone this week and as long as it isnt an phone Im happy

Yup. After purchasing the ICT-13, I have dropped my T68 twice. Waist level to concrete floor...

T68 survived with very minor housing crack at bottom left corner. Every thing else remain undamaged.

Remembered owning a Motorola V3688 years back. Dropped it once and the speaker gave up the ghost. Had then to walk around with a small phone with a headset permanently attached to be able to answer calls.

T68 is definitely one solid phone!!!

By the way and just for the record, do not treat your phone like I did in the post above! KS
